Talking of natural, I said food is an
emotional businesses and one of the big trends we’re seeing in retail is this passion for natural. The passion not just to you have natural
delivered but actually to touch it, which is again, actually quite good news
for the physical retailer. This is one of the areas that actually people really,
really don’t want to order it online. They want to feel the tomatoes, they
want to smell the aroma of the herbs which they’re buying, they want to know what it is that is going into their mouths. They actually kind of want the fantasy that its come from the local shop,
from the local farmer, from the local ground and so on. Part of the
physical journey. And it’s linked to ethics, how the food is grown and so on, and we can expect all of these passions to intensify, despite the economic downturn. Yes, it’s a blip, it’s true when people are
absolutely stuck for cash they go back to eating eating their battery hens, but they’ll be back in terms of ethical pressures. It’s just that they will expect
the ethical to be the same price as all the only other…
